As a mom of five, I am keenly aware of how quickly the little stages last... the stages you might not even realize you are in. I see the tiny hands clutching your pinky. I notice how you hold your new tiny baby against your chest. I love the tears, the drool, and the cries. This time is short. It is not meant to be quiet and staged. It’s raw and messy, and that’s what makes it picture perfect.
The Details
The best newborn and family pictures come when everyone in the room feels like they can be themselves, even when there is a camera in the room. This is my superpower- letting your story and your personality play out in its own and unique way. I do not arrive with my own agenda. I do not force you to fit my mold. I merely find the light, watch your dynamic, and allow you to be fully present with those you love most. That’s where the magic lies. And that’s what I capture.
